This field-based business development role is ideal for a relationship-driven B2B sales professional who enjoys prospecting, winning new accounts, and growing long-term customer partnerships.

This opportunity offers the stability of an established Pacific Northwest industrial solutions provider, an assigned territory, uncapped earning potential, and the autonomy to spend most of your time in the field with customers. You will be supported by internal sales and service teams, leadership that is investing in sales growth, and a collaborative environment focused on customer success, technical learning, and long-term career development.

The right candidate will bring strong outside sales fundamentals, a consultative approach, and the curiosity to learn industrial equipment, service, and technical solutions. If you enjoy building credibility with operations leaders, maintenance teams, engineers, and key decision-makers, this role offers a strong platform to grow your income and territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person customer visits.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships within an assigned Western Washington territory.
- Conduct onsite visits to understand customer operations, equipment needs, service requirements, and upcoming projects.
- Recommend equipment, service, and technical solutions based on customer needs and business goals.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up on opportunities, and move prospects through the sales process.
- Partner with internal sales and service teams to ensure responsive customer support and long-term account growth.

Compensation and Benefits

- Base salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
- On-target earnings of $100,000 to $160,000 or more.
- Uncapped commission based on gross margin performance.
- Monthly vehicle allowance plus mileage reimbursement.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Approximately 75% field-based customer activity with the remaining time focused on quotes, follow-up, and account management.
