Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a proven background in the packaging industry to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for driving new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding market presence across the LA/OC region or other regions depending on their book of business. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a pipeline of clients within the packaging industry, with a focus on packaging machines and/or materials.
Leverage existing relationships and actively prospect new accounts to grow market share and drive revenue.
Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and client meetings across your designated region.
Collaborate with internal teams for product training, sales meetings, and strategic planning at our Ontario, CA office.
Deliver exceptional customer service, identifying client needs and offering tailored packaging solutions.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to support performance goals.
Requirements:
2+ years of outside sales experience in the packaging industry (machinery, materials, or both).
Established book of business in the LA/OC area or other regions (AZ, NV, etc. also considered).
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and in-office sales meetings/training.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (DOE)
Commission: Competitive commission structure based on performance and book of business
