Job Overview
We are seeking a Outside Sales & Customer Service professional to join our team. This role involves procuring scrap metal, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying profitability opportunities within established pricing guidelines. If you have sales experience in the scrap metal industry and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
-Procure scrap metal from industrial generators and dealers.
-Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
-Retain and manage profitable accounts within pricing guidelines
- Identify and implement margin opportunities with existing accounts.
- Resolve internal and external customer service issues efficiently.
- Complete paperwork accurately and meet deadlines.
- Travel as needed throughout California to secure business.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Previous sales or scrap buying experience required.
- Knowledge of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, etc.
- Understanding of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, and transportation.
- Ability to generate and qualify leads and close deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexible schedule with availability for travel throughout California.
