Warehouse Associate – Order Picker

Location: Illinois
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (3-month assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate – Order Picker to support daily warehouse operations. This role focuses on order picking, material handling, and assisting customers with will-call pickups. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and operating order-picking equipment at heights.

Schedule

Regular Shift:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

30-minute unpaid lunch

Training Shift:

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

30-minute unpaid lunch

Key Responsibilities

Pull, verify, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup

Assist customers with will-call orders, including loading materials

Receive, inspect, stage, and stock incoming inventory

Operate order-picking equipment (up to 20 feet in height)

Use forklifts as needed to move materials

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience

Minimum 1 year of forklift experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working at heights using order-picking equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management

Forklift Operator experience

Ability to learn product information quickly

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Overtime paid after 40 hours
