Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will help ensure customer purchase orders are reviewed, validated, and processed accurately and on time. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow defined processes while working closely with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Verify order details before processing to help ensure production readiness and customer satisfaction.
- Identify order discrepancies and coordinate with internal departments to obtain missing or corrected information.
- Maintain daily productivity goals while meeting high standards for accuracy and quality.
- Support order entry team members with questions related to order requirements, documentation, and processes.
- Contribute to quality assurance, customer service, and on-time order processing objectives.

- Pay range: $21 to $23 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Review and process customer purchase orders with a high level of accuracy.
- Validate order details, documentation, and requirements before production readiness.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams.
- Support quality control, customer service, and timely order processing goals.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative, order entry, data entry, order processing, or related clerical experience.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to review documents, identify missing information, and follow structured procedures.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily workflow and productivity expectations.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to maintain professionalism when coordinating with internal departments and resolving order-related questions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing customer purchase orders or sales order documentation.
- Experience supporting order processing, production coordination, customer service, or quality assurance functions.
- Familiarity with ERP, order management, or business system data entry processes.
- Prior experience in a high-volume administrative or order processing environment.
