We are seeking a reliable Packaging Associate Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Kirkwood area of St. Louis, MO. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, takes pride in quality, and is looking for a steady schedule in a team-focused manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Work Setting: 100% onsite.
- Location: St. Louis, MO, Kirkwood area.
The Packaging Associate Operator will support manual assembly and packaging operations, including labeling, packing, stacking finished goods, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This opportunity offers consistent weekday hours, a 4-day workweek, and the potential to grow into a long-term position with a supportive production team and hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Package, label, pack, and stack finished products according to production requirements.
- Perform manual assembly and packaging tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Inspect products and packaging to help maintain quality standards.
- Read and follow production documents, work instructions, and safety information.
- Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Support daily production goals through reliable attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform manual packaging, labeling, packing, and stacking of finished goods.
- Support production flow by following work instructions and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing work area.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year of manufacturing, packaging, production, or light assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to read production documents and safety information.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must live within a 25-30 minute commute of the Kirkwood area.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in packaging, equipment operations, manufacturing, light assembly, or production.
- Experience working in a fast-paced onsite production environment.
- Strong attendance record and ability to meet daily production expectations.
