We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Flexographic Press Operator / Production Associate to support printing and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating printing equipment, ensuring product quality, and assisting with shipping and material handling as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Operate 1–4 color flexographic printing presses
Print and slit Tyvek® and other film materials
Ensure all manufactured products meet quality specifications, production timelines, and cost standards
Support the Printing/Slitting Supervisor with daily production tasks
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on printing and slitting equipment
Manage inventory of printed materials, including sourcing and restocking

Shipping & Production Support:

Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
Prepare finished goods for shipment, including:
Assembling shipping boxes (folding and taping)
Sealing and labeling packages accurately
Verifying customer and shipping information
Applying quality inspection labels
Palletizing shipments when required
Moving completed products to designated staging or quarantine areas
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
Basic mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
Ability to stand for extended periods (6–8 hours)
Ability to visually distinguish colors and detect small defects
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of flexographic or offset printing experience
Technical training or apprenticeship preferred
Additional Requirements
Willingness to complete required training, including:
New Employee Orientation
Safety and compliance training
Forklift certification
Lockout/Tagout procedures
Must be certified by a supervisor to independently perform job duties
Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing/production setting and may require standing, lifting, and working with production equipment throughout the shift.
