Job Title: Senior Operations Supervisor
Location: West Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Supervisor will support the Operations Manager and oversee daily operations across production, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and office functions for the West Chicago location. This role is heavily production-focused and is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing or production background who is looking for long-term growth into Production Manager and potentially Plant Manager. The company is seeking a hands-on leader who is adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable stepping into multiple areas of the operation as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations including production, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and office management
• Support the Operations Manager with overall site operations and workflow efficiency
• Monitor and improve production processes, output, and workflow performance
• Lead, train, and develop employees across departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Manage inventory, vendor coordination, and order fulfillment activities
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections to maintain operational safety
• Analyze operational data and provide reporting to leadership
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve disruptions quickly
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment
• Assist in other departments as business needs shift or grow
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of operations supervisory experience
• MUST HAVE manufacturing or production experience
• Production floor leadership experience strongly preferred
• Experience in packaging, adhesive products, or related manufacturing industries is a plus
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational management systems
• Stable work history with demonstrated career growth preferred
