We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager Food Industry professional for a direct hire opportunity with a food and beverage production organization in Riverside, CA. This full-time leadership role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader who can optimize manufacturing performance, strengthen supply chain execution, improve quality systems, and drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily operations across production, supply chain, engineering, R&D, quality assurance, and related manufacturing functions.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals, production targets, customer service expectations, and financial objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, process optimization, cost control, and productivity initiatives across the operation.
• Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, budgets, cash flow, P&L performance, and resource allocation to support informed business decisions.
• Oversee ERP system utilization, reporting, workflow improvements, and operational data analysis to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, CODEX, quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects include:
• Lead end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain operations for a food production environment.
• Manage operational performance, KPIs, budgets, P&L, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Implement Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, change management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across production, quality, engineering, R&D, and supply chain.
Required qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, food production, consumer goods, or a related environment.
• Strong background in operations management, production planning, supply chain management, and manufacturing leadership.
• Proven experience with Lean manufacturing, process improvement, operational strategy, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP systems to streamline operations, improve reporting, and support production visibility.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing quality systems, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, P&L, cash flow, cost controls, and financial performance metrics.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, statistical tools, and performance tracking.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with NetSuite or Redzone ERP systems.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or advanced continuous improvement training.
• Knowledge of wastewater processes in a food production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, and CODEX compliance standards.
• Background in process engineering, supply chain optimization, quality assurance, quality control, and data-driven operational decision-making.
