We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Food to lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing operations for a growing food and beverage production environment in Fresno, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across production, supply chain, engineering, R&D, and quality assurance functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, and strengthen operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth goals, production needs, customer expectations, and cost-control objectives.
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, budgets, cash flow, P&L, and operational reporting to support effective decision making.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, CODEX, and workplace safety standards.
- Coach, develop, and lead cross-functional teams while supporting change management, process improvement, and a high-performance operations culture.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across production, supply chain, engineering, R&D, and quality assurance.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, production planning, and operational strategy initiatives.
- Manage ERP-driven workflows, KPI reporting, financial performance, budgeting, P&L, and resource planning.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, quality systems performance, safety standards, and customer service delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, food production, consumer goods, or a closely related environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational strategy, and process optimization.
- Experience with ERP systems, with NetSuite or Redzone experience strongly valued.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, quality assurance, and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Experience managing budgets, P&L, cost controls, forecasting, and financial metrics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, performance tracking, and statistical tools to support operational decisions.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, CODEX, and safety compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or related operational excellence training.
- Experience with NetSuite and Redzone ERP or production management systems.
- Food and beverage manufacturing leadership experience.
- Knowledge of wastewater processes.
- Experience improving customer satisfaction, service delivery, and cross-functional operational alignment.
