Job Description:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our operation teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness to support overall business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management:
Oversee the Operations department, providing guidance, coaching, and accountability to help the team succeed.
Fill in where needed to ensure all the team’s work gets completed. This is a very hands-on role, not just a supervisory role. You will be doing the work side-by-side with the operations team that you manage. In other words, you’re not the coach of the team (sitting on the sidelines making calls), you are the team captain, leading from the field.
Ensure smooth orchestration of day-to-day operations, establishing and maintaining processes to support this.
Provide oversight and approval for large inventory orders.
Monitor and report on operational metrics, including customer account trends and reporting on inventory & fulfillment and billing.
Establish and maintain operations training and documentation.
Identify and escalate resource constraints or issues impacting the team's success.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales to resolve order-related inquiries or issues.
Maintain accurate records and reporting at all times.
The operations team is responsible for the following areas (in other words, here are the tasks that what you and/or your team will be responsible for):
Customer service:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers & vendors
Maintain detailed and accurate schedule of cases
Ensure that customer service-related metrics are met
Billing:
Ensure that all billing is performed in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure that billing-related reporting is accurate
Ensure that billing-related metrics are met
Inventory & Fulfillment:
Deliver on our promise to customers by providing the right product/equipment at the right time, place, and condition.
Ensure readiness of products and equipment to meet sales commitment
