Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to oversee our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing supply chain logistics, inventory control, team leadership, and process optimization within the healthcare or medical products industry. This position requires the Operations Manager to be on-call one day per week to handle any urgent operational issues outside regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily operations across warehousing, distribution, and logistics.
Oversee inventory management ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to streamline operations.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Manage, coach, and develop the operations team to meet company goals.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Be on-call one day per week to address urgent operational matters outside normal business hours.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the surgical, medical, or healthcare product wholesale industry.
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in inventory control and ERP systems.
Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to be on-call one day per week.
