Operations Manager Needed up to $135000.00-Transportaton

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee transportation operations across multiple locations. This leadership position requires a hands-on, results-driven operator who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise and an ability to engage with and motivate a diverse team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Leadership and Team Management:

1) Lead, motivate, and manage a team across multiple locations to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment. Ensure that each team member is supported and engaged for maximum operational efficiency.-up to 90 employees.
2) Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless, safe, and on-time transportation services. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly while maintaining high service standards.
3) Driver Engagement and Development: Provide hands-on support to drivers, assist in scheduling, and implement performance management practices to drive consistent service quality and morale.
4) Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure vehicle and driver compliance.
5) Customer Service Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for partners, proactively addressing issues and ensuring the highest level of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Problem-Solving and Reporting: Analyze performance data and key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve issues quickly, and report on operational performance to senior management.
Qualifications:

** Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field, with a track record of managing large, diverse teams.
**Leadership: A hands-on, proactive leader who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes full ownership of operations.
**Operational Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities to manage operations across multiple locations.
**Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees, partners, and senior management.

**Safety Knowledge: Solid understanding of transportation industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
**Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational demands.
**Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with office tools and technology for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking.
