Onsite Data Entry Clerk – Accounts Payable
Location: Irving, TX 75038
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role:
We are hiring a Data Entry Clerk to support the Accounts Payable department for a leading company in the construction industry. We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in direct data entry work, some exposure to Accounts Payable tasks, and a consistent, stable work history.
Candidates who have demonstrated strong tenure (at least two years in each of their recent roles) will be prioritized, as stability and reliability are highly important to the client.

Key Responsibilities:
-Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation.
-Handle and distribute incoming mail related to accounts payable.
-Manage utility bills, including coordination of service shut-offs if needed.
-Audit lien releases submitted with payment requests.
-Research and resolve billing and payment inquiries from trade partners.
-Submit void requests as necessary.
-Perform additional administrative tasks to support the department.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of recent direct data entry experience in a clerical, billing, or accounts payable setting.
-Prior experience supporting Accounts Payable functions is preferred.
-Strong record of job stability — ideally two or more years in each of your three most recent positions.
-High school diploma or GED required.
-Familiarity with JD Edwards software is a plus.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to accuracy.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
