Job Title: Office Manager
Pay Rate: Up to $26/hour (DOE)
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This position plays a key role in supporting staff, managing office systems, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations including supplies, scheduling, and general administrative support
Manage office budgets, billing, and vendor relationships
Maintain and improve filing systems (physical and digital)
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed
Support HR functions such as onboarding, timekeeping, and employee communications
Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment
Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications
Assist leadership with special projects and reports
Qualifications:
2+ years of office management or administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Google Workspace a plus
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with QuickBooks, payroll, or basic accounting is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
