Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Office Assistant for a temporary administrative support opportunity in Los Gatos, CA within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a highly organized, professional, and service-oriented candidate who enjoys keeping an office running smoothly while supporting employees, visitors, departments, and leadership.
The Office Assistant will help create a welcoming and efficient workplace by managing front office activity, coordinating meetings and office logistics, maintaining supplies and records, and assisting with daily administrative needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and being a reliable point of contact in a professional office setting. Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, direct office visits, answer calls, route emails and voicemails, and provide professional front office support.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, accommodations, catering, interviews, and office events.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, mail distribution, document scanning, records, files, and general administrative correspondence.
- Support new employee office setup, including cubicle assignments, laptops, monitors, and related equipment coordination.
- Create, order, and ship business cards for local and overseas employees.
- Communicate with property management, janitorial staff, electricians, HVAC providers, contractors, and other vendors for office maintenance and facility-related projects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Part-time, temporary.
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 4 hours per day.
- Location: Los Gatos, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Provide front office reception and administrative support.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, events, travel, and office logistics.
- Maintain office supplies, records, mail coverage, and general office organization.
- Support employee workspace setup and communicate with vendors and service providers.
- Previous office assistant, administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support experience is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with visitors, employees, executives, vendors, and service providers.
- Comfortable drafting emails, letters, and general business correspondence.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, files, documents, and office information.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and able to work independently in a part-time schedule.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office tools and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an office manager, executive team, or multi-department office environment.
- Experience coordinating travel, events, catering, meetings, or vendor services.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical office environment.
- Familiarity with office supply management, mailroom support, facilities coordination, or employee onboarding logistics.
