Office Administrator (Temporary – leave of absence)

Are you an organized, reliable, and upbeat professional who enjoys variety in your day and being the friendly face of a company? Our close-knit, family-owned business in Chino is looking for someone to step in and support our team while our Office Administrator is on leave.
This is a temporary position with full-time hours, starting mid-May, and lasting several months.

We’re a family-owned business that’s been around for many years. We take pride in our casual-but-professional atmosphere—think jeans, boots, and a welcoming team. Our owners are onsite daily, and you’ll be working at the front desk, where first impressions matter.
?? What You'll Do:
Answer phones and greet visitors with a smile
Handle general office duties like filing, ordering supplies, and keeping things running smoothly
Support our Controller with admin tasks including:
Basic AP entry and check runs
Assisting with payroll/timecard processing
Helping with HR tasks like open enrollment prep and new employee orientations
Fielding HR or payroll-related questions and routing them appropriately.
Work with Agility (our accounting software—similar to QuickBooks or Great Plains)
Use Word and Excel for basic documentation and spreadsheets
?? What We're Looking For:
Someone local to the Chino area
An intelligent self-starter who takes ownership of their work
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn—we are is happy to train!
Strong attention to detail and great note-taking skills
Dependable and committed to showing up and following through
Prior admin experience preferred, especially in a small business setting
?? Compensation:
$22–$25/hour based on experience
