Nurse Practitioner (Infectious Disease – Inpatient Rounding)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established Infectious Disease practice in Downtown Orlando. This role offers a structured schedule of approximately 1,600 working hours annually while maintaining full-time compensation—providing an excellent balance between career and lifestyle.

You will work closely with one physician, providing inpatient rounding support and managing infectious disease patients in a hospital setting. This is a great opportunity for an NP who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient rounding in hospital settings
Evaluate and manage approximately 25–30 patients daily
Conduct physical assessments and develop treatment plans
Provide ongoing patient management and follow-up care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams
Assist with wound care management (training available)
Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
Qualifications
Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license
3+ years of NP experience (inpatient or hospital-based preferred)
Background in hospital medicine, internal medicine, or infectious disease preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Wound care experience is a plus
