Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized On-Site Administrator / Davis-Bacon Payroll Administrator to support a large construction project. This role is responsible for Davis-Bacon payroll compliance and day-to-day administrative support directly at the jobsite. The position is fully on-site and works closely with project leadership, field staff, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Davis-Bacon Payroll (Required)
Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll in compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements
Verify employee classifications, hours worked, wage rates, fringes, and benefits
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of certified payroll reports
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor regulations
Respond to payroll audits, inquiries, and documentation requests
On-Site Administrative Support
Serve as the primary administrative contact at the jobsite
Maintain organized project files, logs, and documentation
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field staff
Answer phones, prepare correspondence, and support daily office operations
Track subcontractor compliance documents including insurance and licenses
Assist with timekeeping, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications
Davis-Bacon payroll experience is required (3–5+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws and certified payroll processes
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
Prior construction or field office experience strongly preferred
Work Environment
On-site construction setting with office space provided in a jobsite trailer
Regular interaction with field personnel and project teams
Standard weekday schedule
