Job Summary
We are seeking candidates that reside in NV - Fully Remote Medical CSR for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting patient account services in a healthcare call center environment. This remote position is ideal for a detail-oriented customer service professional who lives in Nevada and is comfortable handling high-volume inbound calls, patient account questions, billing concerns, insurance updates, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle 55 or more inbound calls daily, including queued callbacks, returned voicemails, and occasional outbound calls.
- Assist patients with billing questions, charges, payment plans, financial assistance screening, insurance updates, itemized statements, refunds, and account concerns.
- Accurately review, update, and document patient account details in internal systems.
- Maintain strong first call resolution while working toward an average 7-minute call handle time.
- Update patient demographics, verify insurance information, and follow established customer service procedures.
- Provide professional, empathetic, and accurate support to patients in a remote call center setting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Handle high-volume medical customer service calls in a remote call center environment.
- Support patient account inquiries related to billing, insurance, payment plans, and financial assistance.
- Maintain detailed account documentation and meet call quality and handle time expectations.
- Use computer systems to update demographics, verify insurance, and process patient service requests.
- 3-5 years of relevant customer service, call center, healthcare, or patient account support experience preferred for this level.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM required.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable hard-wired internet with at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
- Must provide own equipment, including computer or laptop, extra monitor, hard-wired internet connection, and headset.
- Must be able to provide screenshots of workspace and internet speed results.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, accuracy, patience, and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to remain professional and organized while handling sensitive patient account information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare customer service, medical call center support, patient financial services, or medical billing.
- Experience assisting patients with insurance verification, payment plans, refunds, or itemized statement requests.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.
