Mortgage Valuation Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of mortgage experience.

The pay is 20-25/hour.

This is a temporary position that could get extended.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in a role focused on the review and analysis of real estate valuation documents. This position is critical to ensuring all property assessments meet internal benchmarks, legal mandates, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Verify that all property review documentation complies with internal standards and industry-specific regulatory requirements.

-Ensure adherence to professional independence rules within the valuation process.

Examine valuation reports for inconsistencies or mistakes, and issue clear and thorough correction requests to valuation professionals.

-Appropriately escalate issues when needed, following defined procedures.

Complete each stage of the valuation quality process accurately and in a timely manner according to pre-set turnaround goals.

-Communicate with property evaluators (such as appraisers or field agents) to clarify revisions or check order statuses.

-Join scheduled team discussions and collaborative sessions.

Participate in extended hours, cross-training, and in-person group initiatives as needed.

-Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding operational updates and procedures.

-Foster cooperative, respectful relationships with third-party partners and fellow team members.

Take on additional assignments as needed to support department goals.

What You’ll Need:

-Minimum of two to three years’ experience reviewing property appraisals, ideally within a valuation services firm or home lending organization.

-High school diploma required; higher education strongly preferred.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding high-quality work.

-Ability to juggle multiple systems and tasks in a dynamic setting.

Eagerness and capacity to learn new workflows, tools, and procedures swiftly.
