We are seeking a Mortgage Collections Specialist to join our remote team and provide exceptional support to homeowners. This role is ideal for individuals with call center, mortgage, and collections experience who enjoy helping clients and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll gain valuable mortgage and collections expertise while working from the comfort of your home, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist homeowners with mortgage maintenance, including status updates, payment processing, and client questions
• Educate clients on mortgage processes and help them understand their options
• Handle soft collections for accounts up to 30 days past due
• Deliver exceptional customer service while following company standards
• Use advanced telephony systems for inbound and outbound calls
• Track and document customer interactions accurately
• Identify root causes and provide solutions to resolve client concerns
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of call center experience
• Mortgage and collections experience required
• Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
Training & Schedule:
• 7-week training program (9am–6pm EST), including classroom instruction and live call practice
• Post-training schedule: 12pm–9pm EST, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays (8am–3pm EST) every 3 weeks
• Flexibility built in: Saturday shifts are partially offset with additional weekday hours to ensure 40 hours/week
Technical Requirements:
• Quiet, private workspace at home
• High-speed internet: minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload (hard-wired or Wi-Fi acceptable)
