Medius Buyer (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking a plug-and-play Medius Buyer with hands-on experience using Medius Procurement/AP automation to support purchasing operations. This role partners closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage purchasing, invoices, and vendor relationships efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage purchase orders in Medius and ERP systems (JDE, IFS, GP, etc.)
Perform three-way invoice matching and resolve discrepancies
Process invoices, change orders, and cost entries
Source and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and availability
Track vendor follow-ups, deliveries, warranties, and credits
Coordinate with shipping & receiving and support daily purchasing needs
Maintain approved vendor lists and pricing knowledge
Requirements:
3+ years of buyer or procurement experience
Direct Medius software experience required
Strong invoice processing and PO management skills
Proficient in Excel & Word
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
HVAC parts/equipment knowledge a plus
High school diploma required; college coursework preferred
Travel - Minimal (0–5%)
