Medical Reimbursement Specialist
Pay: $17/hour
Located: Columbia, SC (downtown near Segra Park)-onsite position
Hours: M-F, 8:30-5pm (37.5 hours a week)

Are you experienced in medical billing or reimbursement or looking to grow your career in healthcare administration? We’re seeking a detail-oriented Medical Reimbursement Specialist to join a fast-paced team with strong long-term potential!

What You’ll Do:
-Communicate with patients to set up payment plans and follow up on outstanding balances
-Work with insurance companies to verify coverage and submit reimbursement claims
-Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing and reimbursement discrepancies
-Manage and maintain accurate financial and medical documentation
-Prepare and issue invoices following patient visits
-Ensure timely and accurate processing of reimbursements

What We’re Looking For:
-Previous experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or claims processing preferred
-Open to candidates with experience handling billing inquiries or insurance claims
-Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients, providers, and insurers
-High attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
