Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our healthcare administration team. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and at least 2 years of clerical experience in a data entry role.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient and medical data into electronic health records (EHR) systems
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy
Communicate with medical staff to clarify information when needed
Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing medical documents
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of clerical/data entry experience in a medical or healthcare setting
Typing speed of 7,000+ keystrokes per hour with high accuracy
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with EHR systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
