Litigation Paralegal / Nurse Paralegal

About the Role
A well-established defense litigation firm is seeking an experienced full-time Litigation Paralegal or Nurse Paralegal with strong defense experience. Medical malpractice experience is a plus. This position supports one shareholder and one partner — both highly respected and collaborative attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
Review and summarize medical records; prepare medical chronologies
Prepare non-party record subpoenas compliant with state and federal regulations
E-file documents in state and federal courts
Locate, communicate with, and coordinate expert witnesses
Assist in preparation for witness interviews, depositions, mediations, and trial
Accurately record and report billable time per client guidelines
Qualifications
3–5 years of litigation experience (defense experience required)
Medical malpractice experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and medical malpractice processes
Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Adobe Acrobat (or similar PDF software)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
