Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming, professional front office experience.
- Answer incoming calls, assist patients, and contact patients to schedule appointments.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information in computer systems.
- Monitor incoming faxes, process information, and enter new prescriptions into the system.
- Verify insurance coverage through an online insurance portal.
- Assist with patient orders and support daily medical office workflow.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $15 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients in person and over the phone.
- Accurately enter patient information, prescriptions, orders, and insurance details into office systems.
- Support appointment scheduling, fax processing, and daily front office patient service.
- Verify insurance coverage using an online portal and assist with patient-related administrative tasks.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred, with entry-level candidates considered.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, bubbly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Comfortable navigating online portals and entering information into multiple systems.

- Comfortable interacting with patients, the public, and internal team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical office or insurance experience is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology such as deductibles, copays, and coverage is a plus.
- Previous experience in a patient-facing healthcare, front desk, call center, or administrative support role is helpful.
