A medical practice in Southwest Las Vegas is seeking an entry-level Medical Front Desk professional to support daily patient check-in, scheduling, phones, insurance verification, referrals, and front office administration. This Medical Front Desk role is a great fit for candidates with medical externship experience or transferable front desk experience from a salon, dental office, veterinary office, or other customer-facing appointment-based setting. The position offers hands-on exposure to a busy medical office environment, supportive day-to-day training, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and general front desk support.
- Check in patients, confirm appointment details, and maintain a welcoming front office experience.
- Schedule appointments and help manage provider calendars accurately.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with referral approval processes.
- Create and maintain new patient charts and update patient records as needed.
- Support general administrative duties to help the medical office run smoothly and efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $16.00 per hour.
- Job type: Full-time, temp-to-hire.
- Work arrangement: Onsite position.
- Location: Southwest Las Vegas, near the 215 and S Durango.
- Answer phones, check in patients, and support daily front desk operations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in a professional manner.
- Verify insurance, assist with referrals, and create new patient charts.
