Operator I – Medical Device Manufacturing Associate

Position Summary

The Operator I is responsible for supporting the production of high-quality medical devices within a cleanroom environment. Working under close supervision, this role performs routine assembly, inspection, repair, and testing activities in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical catheters under close supervision.
• Execute routine production tasks in strict compliance with standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Accurately complete written and electronic documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance with FDA regulations.
• Communicate clearly and effectively regarding work instructions, issues, and solutions.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and Valexternal partners.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while onsite.
• Read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Handle and maneuver small components using fine motor skills, including working under a microscope.
• Perform repetitive hand motions such as grasping, pinching, pulling, and twisting.
• Sit or stand for extended periods as required by production demands.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience manually assembling medical devices.
• Proficiency using assembly tools under a microscope for extended periods.
• Hand soldering experience.
• Prior work in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience maintaining detailed written and electronic production documentation.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring fine motor coordination.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Visual acuity sufficient for microscope-based work.
