We are hiring a Medical Device Assembler II to support production of high-quality medical devices in a clean-room environment. This role requires precision, consistency, and strict compliance with quality and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must have experience in one of the following:

High school diploma or equivalent + 1–2 years of medical device assembly or ISO-certified assembly experience
OR
No diploma + 2–3 years of medical device assembly or ISO-certified assembly experience

Essential Skills & Capabilities:

Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to work in a clean-room environment and follow all clean-room protocols
Ability to perform repetitive tasks at a set pace and sequence
Strong fine-motor skills and excellent hand-eye coordination for small-part assembly

Ability to operate equipment (after training), including:
Microscopes
Test equipment
EFD dispensers
Ultrasonic welders
Soldering irons
Dial calipers
Pressure gauges
Rulers


Basic Windows computer skills and ability to learn site-specific software
Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and processes

Preferred (Not Required):

Knowledge of GDP, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing principles


Job Responsibilities

Perform all duties associated with Assembler I with demonstrated proficiency
Assemble medical devices across two or more product lines at or above standard production rates
Follow and reference written procedures in accordance with Quality System requirements
Complete accurate production documentation, including Device History Records, data sheets, and lot-control paperwork
Follow supervisor/lead direction regarding priorities, schedules, and standards
Learn new procedures as product lines evolve and adapt to changes in workflow
Cross-train on additional product lines as requested
Assist Assembler III or Lead with training activities
Support continuous improvement efforts using basic Lean principles
Notify lead/supervisor promptly of material shortages
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment following safety and ergonomic guidelines
Maintain acceptable attendance, work overtime or varying shifts when required
Stay focused on assigned tasks and avoid disruptions to surrounding operations
Participate in shared-leadership activities (e.g., Kanban, calibration, metrics board)
Perform additional duties as assigned
