We are seeking a Medical Customer Service professional for a contract/temporary opportunity in Henderson, NV. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond professionally to member, provider, vendor, and health plan questions or concerns.
- Provide accurate information related to eligibility, plan benefits, providers, vendors, claims status, grievances, complaints, and coverage determinations.
- Research customer inquiries and coordinate with internal and external teams to support timely resolution.
- Review documents for completeness and verify member, provider, vendor, and contract eligibility when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to customer communications and service coordination.
- Protect confidential information and follow all privacy, disclosure, and organizational compliance policies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Handle inbound healthcare customer service calls for members, providers, vendors, and health plans.
- Research and resolve questions related to benefits, eligibility, coverage determinations, claims, grievances, and complaints.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, service coordination, and follow-up activity.
- Escalate calls to supervisors or clinical staff when additional review or response is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service experience preferred for this level of role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with co-workers, physicians, provider offices, members, and health plan contacts.
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities and tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in word processing, computer data entry, and customer documentation.
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute with good accuracy.
- Accurate and efficient 10-key skills required.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with privacy requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
