We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team and support billing operations for a government agency. The ideal candidate is sharp, proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle medical billing, including claims submission and reconciliation through a clearinghouse.

Review, track, and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.

Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) to analyze and manage billing data.

Work within accounting software and a government agency database to process and reconcile claims.

Ensure compliance with billing regulations and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and support department goals.

Qualifications:

5–8 years of medical billing experience, with strong knowledge of clearinghouse processes.

Proven reconciliation and claims experience with clearinghouses.

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).

Experience working with accounting software; fiscal or accounting background preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.

Must live within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA (90017).

Work Environment:

Hybrid role: 1–3 days in-office per week, as needed.
