About the Role:
A well-established medical practice in South Shreveport is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their patient-focused team. This role offers a blend of front and back office responsibilities, making it ideal for a CMA who enjoys variety and values compassionate care, professionalism, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and assist with check-in and front desk duties
Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage patient records
Take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures
Support physicians and nurses with clinical and administrative tasks
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HIPAA compliance
Contribute to smooth daily operations with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications:
Current CMA certification (required)
Experience in both front and back office duties preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Passion for providing excellent patient care
