Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Medical Assistant will assist providers with patient care, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure smooth daily clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
Assist providers with exams, treatments, and minor procedures
Perform clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy as assigned
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Verify patient information and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
Handle phone calls, patient inquiries, and follow-up communications
Process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription requests
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Support front office duties including check-in, check-out, and payment processing as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain
Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
