Medical Member Services Support Clerk
Bakersfield, CA
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a highly organized and dependable professional with a passion for providing exceptional administrative support? We are seeking a Member Services Senior Support Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll support various clerical functions, help manage incoming and outgoing communications, and play a key part in maintaining department efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced office environment and have a strong attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Open and date-stamp incoming mail; distribute according to department policy.
Manage returned mail, update addresses, and re-mail as needed.
Answer and make phone calls; document interactions in CRM.
Compose letters, memos, confidential reports, and complete standard forms from provided information.
Maintain departmental inventory.
Create, retrieve, update, and purge both manual and electronic files.
Operate office equipment including copiers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems.
Retrieve and scan documents; track pulled files.
Provide administrative support for special projects as assigned.
Screen incoming calls and direct appropriately.

Requirements:
Must have at least (2) years of clerical experience, preferably in managed care or health insurance.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution (required).
Typing speed of 30 WPM required.
