Job Summary

We are seeking a data-driven Media Buyer for a direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is ideal for a strategic advertising professional who enjoys planning, negotiating, launching, and optimizing campaigns across traditional and digital media channels.

The Media Buyer will work closely with the Media Director and account service team to deliver effective media strategies, manage budgets, analyze campaign performance, and provide clear recommendations that improve ROI. Key Responsibilities

- Build, launch, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns across digital and traditional media platforms.
- Negotiate pricing, placements, ad time slots, sponsorships, and added-value opportunities with media vendors and publishers.
- Manage media budgets, monitor pacing, and ensure spend aligns with campaign goals and approved media plans.
- Analyze KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, delivery, and campaign performance to make monthly optimization recommendations.
- Conduct market, audience, and consumer demographic research to identify effective media channels.
- Prepare performance reports and collaborate with internal teams and clients to explain campaign results and media recommendations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage media buying and campaign execution across digital and traditional advertising channels.
- Negotiate media rates, placements, added value, sponsorships, and make goods with vendors and publishers.
- Monitor campaign performance, budget pacing, and media plan delivery.
- Build reporting insights and recommendations that improve campaign ROI.

- 5 or more years of experience in media buying, media planning, performance marketing, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GaleForceMedia, and programmatic buying platforms, or willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data and identify trends.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, including the ability to build calculated reports and manage campaign data.
- Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Comfort managing large advertising budgets and understanding the financial impact of media purchasing decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with account service teams and participate in client meetings as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in an advertising agency, PR services firm, or client-focused marketing environment.
- Hands-on experience managing both traditional and digital media campaigns.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising strategy, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to clearly present media recommendations, performance insights, and strategic rationale to internal and client stakeholders.
