Mechanical Engineer Lead – HVAC/Plumbing Engineering
Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000/year (DOE)
Car Allowance: Yes (Coverage required for King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer Lead to join a growing team. This hybrid role blends technical leadership, hands-on fieldwork, and client relationship management. You will be the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, managing contracts, technician scheduling, billing, and quality assurance across multiple counties.

What You’ll Do
Maintain and oversee 2–3 year service contracts, ensuring technician performance and client satisfaction

Coordinate technician schedules in partnership with dispatch

Conduct site visits and equipment inspections, including ladder climbing

Manage timely and accurate billing, following up on client payments

Perform monthly check-ins with high-touch clients and quarterly check-ins with others

Represent the company at industry events (approximately 2 evenings per month)

Scout and meet new clients to develop business and secure new contracts

Provide technical leadership across design and construction deliverables

Prepare contract documents and mechanical specifications

Support design-build, MCCM, and other project types

What We’re Looking For
Licensed WA State Professional Engineer (Mechanical)

7+ years of mechanical design or field service experience

Strong communication skills with the ability to triage and resolve field issues

Proactive, collaborative self-starter able to manage priorities independently

Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software

Physically capable of performing site visits, including ladder climbing
