Houston commercial and industrial contractor has an opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives in the mechanical and electrical space. If you enjoy steering complex build-outs, coordinating multi-discipline teams, and keeping owners confident from kickoff through commissioning, this role sits right in that sweet spot. Duties:
• Lead MEP-focused commercial/industrial projects from planning through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance
• Work closely with engineering, field supervisors, and trade partners to resolve design or installation challenges
• Manage client communication and ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Support estimating and preconstruction, as needed
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ years managing mechanical/electrical scopes in commercial or industrial construction
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, electrical distribution, and controls
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, commercial construction workflows, and NEC/NFPA codes.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and job-cost tracking
• Ability to work comfortably in an active field environment and coordinate with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with Houston-area codes and permitting is a plus
