Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Technician with a strong background in capital equipment and troubleshooting alignment systems at the systems level. The successful candidate will possess the required technical skills and experience, as well as the ability to pass a criminal history background check, employment verification, and education verification.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of complex technical operations on production and developmental equipment for the semiconductor and related industries with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, software, and control systems both on the production floor and at customer facilities.
• Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layout, cables, and wiring according to schematics.
• Construct complex mechanical assemblies, including drilling, tapping, and using common tools, in accordance with mechanical assembly drawings.
• Bring up machines during assembly and start-up, including performing I/O checkouts and troubleshooting electrical, software, and control system issues.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, motion control, and I/O subsystems using PC-based software and electrical metering and measurement tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering on issues related to bill of materials, drawings, schematics, software, and control systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Prototyping experience in a production work environment.
• 5+ years of experience working as an Electrical/Mechanical Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing workload and priorities to ensure timely project completion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills and Training:
• AA degree in electronics, industrial, or mechanical fields.
• Experience in writing or debugging PLC ladder logic.
• Military electrician technical training.
