Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Direct Hire
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Pay: $25–$30/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established shop in Bakersfield, CA. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, highly skilled in diagnostics and repair, and comfortable working on a wide range of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs
Work on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, diesels, and high-performance models
Troubleshoot and repair engines, suspension, electrical systems, brakes, and A/C
Operate all shop tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently
Manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as an automotive mechanic
Proficient in the use of diagnostic computers and shop tools
Strong understanding of general auto repair practices
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Compensation and Benefits:
$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Monday through Friday schedule (no weekends)
