Job Title: Material Handler I
Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Long-term Contract (1 year +EXT)

Job Overview
Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler I to support warehouse and production operations. This is a fully onsite role requiring forklift experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials and supplies
• Pull and verify materials based on production orders
• Deliver materials to work centers and maintain in-process inventory
• Record inventory movement, shipments, and material disposition accurately
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including packing, loading, and securing materials
• Receive returned materials and place them back into inventory correctly
• Perform pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment and complete minor operator maintenance
• Support warehouse and production teams as needed

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or light assembly experience preferred
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift materials and work in a physically active environment
• Basic data entry and inventory control experience preferred

Additional Requirements
• 100% onsite position
• Drug screening and additional medical exams required
