Qualifications:
This role of the Material Handler will have an emphasis on the receiving, picking and put away of all inventory. As a level five, this individual primarily works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. This highly skilled specialist contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.

Experience:
• Minimum of 2-4 years working in a stockroom or shipping/receiving environment
• Functional knowledge of MRP systems preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications preferred
Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Accomplished “lead-by-example” tactical change agent with strong interpersonal skills
• Attentiveness to detail is a must
• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
• Computer Skills: All Microsoft Applications
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Self-Motivated
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of
materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders, invoices and work orders.
• Maintains records of received goods.
• Lifts up to 50lbs. and may operate a forklift.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Accurately kits work orders with scanner and drops off at the proper location.
• Properly clocks labor in Visual and consistently performs better than standard time.
• Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy. Uses root cause analysis to resolve discrepancies.
• Participates in continuous improvement by suggesting improvement ideas and assisting in
implementation.
• Can execute reports and resolve inventory issues including but not limited to Parts Not Issued, Negatives,
WIP Review, Remote location review and Epoxy Expiration.
• Always wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Can answer questions from other material handlers on aspects of standard work.
• Understands how to execute transactions including using proper G/L account
