Remote Marketo Automation Specialist
Duration: Starting ASAP to go through January 2026 (Leave of Absence Coverage)
Department: Marketing Operations
Schedule: Full-time preferred
Type: Fully remote or hybrid in Murrieta, CA if preferred
Work hours: M-F 8am – 4:30pm
Hourly rate: $30/hour
About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Marketo Automation Specialist to join our Marketing Operations team on a temporary basis, covering a leave of absence. This role is ideal for someone who can jump in immediately with minimal onboarding and help execute on a range of marketing automation needs.
You’ll be responsible for building and launching new programs, maintaining campaign workflows, and supporting cross-functional marketing initiatives. While we have established templates and processes, this role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to build Marketo programs from scratch to support experimentation with new channels and tool integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and launch Marketo programs (emails, nurture streams, webinars, events, etc.) with limited oversight.
· Support campaign execution and experimentation across new marketing channels.
· Create, clone, or adapt existing program templates as needed.
· Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows for accuracy and performance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and data flow.
· Support integration and data flow between Marketo and key tools like Salesforce, ChiliPiper, and Zoom.
· Assist with marketing operations projects including lead lifecycle, scoring, and segmentation updates.
· Provide documentation and knowledge transfer at the end of the contract.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of hands-on Marketo experience (building programs, smart campaigns, forms, landing pages, tokens).
· Strong understanding of how Marketo integrates with Salesforce.
· Ability to hit the ground running—prior experience as a solo or lead Marketo operator is ideal.
· Familiarity with ChiliPiper and Zoom integrations in a marketing automation context.
· Experience building campaigns from the ground up (not just cloning).
· Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
