Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an assembly services role in Milpitas, CA. This hands-on position supports custom assembly work in a production and operations environment, helping build, package, and prepare assemblies that meet customer specifications, quality standards, and daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Build custom assemblies according to approved instructions, product certification guidelines, and customer specifications.
- Work with production planners, buyers, estimators, warehouse associates, and operations leadership to complete, pack, and ship assemblies accurately.
- Follow standard work procedures, quality objectives, and lean manufacturing practices to support safe and efficient production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through assigned housekeeping and facility support duties.
- Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities that improve safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy.
- Schedule production activities and create job instruction packets as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $25.00 to $27.50 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, hours to be determined by supervisor.
- Classification: Hourly, non-exempt.
- Location: Milpitas, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Build and complete assembly work to meet daily production goals.
- Follow job instructions, product certification processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Support order accuracy, inventory accuracy, ship-to-promise goals, and overall quality objectives.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and operations teams to meet scheduling and delivery needs.

- High school diploma required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or related hands-on experience.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to read instructions, enter information, and view production details on a computer screen.
- Basic math and English skills required.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand product features, benefits, and assembly requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow defined processes.
- Ability to multi-task and respond effectively to production schedules and delivery priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, stretching, stooping, standing, and working on your feet for most of the day.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with team members and other stakeholders.
- Commitment to quality, integrity, customer focus, safety, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

- Assembly certifications preferred.
- Warehouse distribution or related experience preferred.
- Experience using lean manufacturing concepts in a production or assembly environment.
- Prior experience working with custom assemblies, job packets, or production scheduling support.
