This is a fully hands-on technical role requiring strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and independent problem solving. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, accountability, and the ability to maintain and optimize production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Details: Sunday - Friday 10:30PM - 6:30AM
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production and support equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues, using history and technical expertise to determine root causes.
Operate independently with minimal supervision; provide technical coaching to less experienced technicians when needed.
Take ownership and accountability for equipment performance and production uptime.
Perform preventative maintenance (PM), repairs, and fine-tuning to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation of work, repairs, and equipment performance.
Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and clean work environment standards.
Collaborate with the team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training a plus.
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with root cause analysis and equipment history evaluation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong accountability and ownership mindset.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Food & Beverage or Chemical manufacturing preferred.
Familiarity with PLCs, programmable controllers, and maintenance systems a plus.
