This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong mechanical and electrical skills, proven experience in production equipment maintenance, and the ability to coach, train, and hold a team accountable.

Shift Details:

Sunday - Friday 10:30PM - 6:30AM

Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day activities of the 3rd shift manufacturing mechanic team, currently 3–5 members.
Assist the Manufacturing Mechanic Supervisor/Manager in managing maintenance activities and delegating responsibilities when appropriate.
Monitor preventative maintenance (PM) activities and equipment performance to ensure production goals are met.
Examine equipment to identify mechanical malfunctions and recommend corrective actions, including root cause analysis and escalation.
Assist with line changeovers, set-ups, repair, and fine-tuning of equipment, including weight adjustments.
Train line personnel and mechanical trainees on proper equipment use, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Monitor machine efficiencies and highlight Continuous Improvement opportunities.
Communicate shift concerns, equipment status, and transition information with other mechanic leaders and operations teams.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among team members.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Mechanical Design Engineering Technology or related field desired.
Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Mechanic experience required.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; familiarity with programmable controllers desired.
Ability to read and sketch mechanical drawings.
Proficient with math and proper use of a multimeter.
Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong accountability mindset; able to hold self and team members accountable for performance and safety.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Food & Beverage or Chemical industries.
