We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III for a direct hire, onsite opportunity in Oxnard, CA supporting precision-manufactured products within a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment. The Manufacturing Engineer III will play a key role in optimizing workflow, supporting production performance, and helping drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing methods, processes, and production workflows.
- Create, update, and maintain routers, work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and process standards.
- Support production teams by troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing practical corrective actions.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, reduce inefficiencies, and improve quality, cost, and throughput.
- Partner with Engineering, Planning, Operations, and suppliers to support production readiness and process improvements.
- Assist with tooling, equipment, capacity planning, workflow optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $88,279 to $146,000 per year.

- Support tooling, equipment, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing documentation, routers, work instructions, and process development.
- Strong process improvement, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Planning, production teams, and suppliers.
- Must be able to meet ITAR requirements.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Must be able to work onsite in Oxnard, CA.
- Experience in semiconductor, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting cost reduction, manufacturing efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
