Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite temp-to-hire opportunity in State College, PA. This role supports a key rebranding initiative within a transducer engineering environment, with a strong focus on engineering documentation, product updates, rework coordination, and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on manufacturing support, cross-functional collaboration, and seeing projects move from documentation through production execution. The work environment is team-oriented and collaborative, with exposure to engineering, production, machine shop operations, documentation control, and process improvement. Candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to contribute to meaningful manufacturing improvements will be well positioned for success.


Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $42.00 to $43.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Work arrangement: Onsite in State College, PA.
- Assignment duration: Position may be extended up to 18 months.

Key Responsibilities

- Support a company rebranding project by updating engineering documentation, drawings, and related product records.
- Assist with stock sorts to identify parts requiring rework, updates, or disposition.
- Complete engineering changes to ensure documentation reflects updated branding and configuration requirements.
- Coordinate rework activities with production teams, machine shop personnel, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing manufacturing costs and improving product and process effectiveness.
- Update mechanical drawings, tolerances, bills of material, and related documentation as needed. 

SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD knowledge and experience is required
