The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as the primary engineering resource supporting manufacturing operations in AVPR. This role requires proactive technical leadership in complex engineering tasks while ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

-Own line performance: output, safety, yield, and quality.
-Identify product defects, determine root causes, and define corrective actions.
-Collaborate with support teams (QC Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Quality Engineer, and Operations) to address line issues, perform triage, and manage containment.

-Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles; may lead Green Belt or Black Belt projects.
-Develop and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
-Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and approving equipment for use.
-Lead and participate in root cause analysis, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Author and execute validation protocols, reports, and engineering studies with minimal oversight.

Support training and certification programs for operators.

Manage line-related change control (materials, processes, equipment).
-Support NPI (New Product Introduction) builds and coordinate product transfer processes.
-Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and applicable regulatory standards.
-Contribute technical expertise in cross-functional projects and meetings.

Qualifications

Required:

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Manufacturing Engineering.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering discipline.
-Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, applied statistics, and process engineering.
