This Manufacturing CAD Designer Position Features:
• Location: Dallas, TX 75238
• Full Time Monday to Friday 8am -5pm
• Direct Hire
• $21-22/hr with great benefits package

Are you a detail-oriented CAD professional with a passion for precision and design in a manufacturing setting? We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support our client's Engineering Services team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a knack for turning concepts into clear, manufacturable drawings, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:
* Provide drafting support using CAD for all types of engineering drawings including fabrication, assembly and schematics.
* Create manufacturing drawings for piece parts and assemblies using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other tools.
* Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Manage document changes through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
* Work within a Product Data Management (PDM) system to handle and process file changes.
* Convert, distribute, and manage electronic files.
* Support additional drafting and documentation tasks as assigned.

What You Bring:
*3+ years of engineering drafting SOLIDWORKS experience.
* Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Deep understanding of BOM structures, engineering principles, and technical documentation.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
